Studio Days.
Bringing some of my garden to the studio. I went out into the rain this morning and cut a bunch of tulips. Even though they get a bit lost amongst all the colours in the shop, it’s wonderful to glance at them during the day.

The first batch of these amazing locks have been washed, sorted, dyed, dried, rinsed, dried, sorted, squished back into gorgeous curls, resorted, trimmed, weighted and bundled. Next step is ribbons and labelling. Besides making sure that I source only the best fibre (which can only come from healthy, well kept animal), the labour in processing these locks is “very involved” (grin). These are amazing for … lol you get the idea. .

So many names are popping in my mind looking at these locks. Tell me what you think it should be called. .

Hand dyed Merino and silk roving. Little bundles of fibres that make me want to infuse them with Rose scent… .
