100% Wool Neps – 100 grams (3.53 oz) The mixed colour bag is from commercially dyed neps. The variegated colours are hand-dyed by The Olive Sparrow. Neps are wonderful to include in wet felting (cover them with a wisp of fibre to enhance adherance). Another application is to put down a layer of super transparent Margilan silk, then the neps, followed by roving. The neps create texture right under the silk. In needle felting the individual neps can be needles around their outside parameter to a felted surface to create texture. Experiment, explore and have fun!
