A blend of New Zealand carded wools (about 27 microns). The shorter fibre makes felting a breeze.

It was developed especially for needle felting by DHG in Italy. They couldn’t have chosen a more iconic name: Maori. A small tribute to a great nation and to the homeland of these wools!

The colours of the Maori wool complement the colours of the the Swiss Mountain batt and work together well.

When used in wet felting, it is wonderful for home decoration items, shoes or sturdy bags. Produces a very stable felt — a premium fibre of choice for felters.

The batt is weighed out by human hands and might be in a couple pieces.

Maori wool lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in Italy at DHG which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.
